A. Things to be aware of when renting a tent are overhead obstacles, such as tree limbs or low wires and underground utilities or sprinkler systems. Tents can not be installed under a high voltage line.
A. In Missouri, call 1-800-DIG-RITE. Outside of Missouri, call your local utilities company to have your underground utilities located for you. There is no charge for this service and in most states, it is the law.
A. About 10 feet over and above the dimensions of the tent. For example, we would need a 30 x 50 area to set up a 20 x 40 tent. If you are not sure that you have enough room, call us at 417-863-8090 and we will be happy to either talk you through it or schedule a time to come and do a site inspection.
A. You probably won't. There are many factors in determining the proper size tent such as number of guests, nature of event, seating arrangements, food service, dance floor space and much more. The best thing to do is to give us a call at 417-863-8090. We are happy to help and there is never any obligation.
A. Yes. We require a 20% minimum deposit to guarantee that the rental items will be available for your event.

Q. Do you have different colors available?
A. Yes. Color choices just depend on what size tent you want and its availability.

Q. What are the advantages to renting a tent?
A. Mainly for the comfort of your guests. Tents provide shelter from that sudden thunderstorm as well as shade from the hot sun. Tents also create a sense of festivity. People simply have a better time when there is a tent. Tents can also be far more economical than renting a large conference room.

Q. Can we set up the tents ourselves?
A. In most cases, no. It is easy to get hurt if you are unfamiliar with tent setting procedures. Also, our insurance requires that the tents are set up according to manufacturers specifications by trained personnel. The only exception to this is if you are renting a 'Pop-Up' tent, which is designed to be set up by the customer

Q. I'm renting a tent for my special event. Why should I consider renting a floor for the tent?

Portable flooring for tents adds to the safety and comfort of your guests and should be considered if any of the following conditions apply: |

--in a parking lot where oil and grease present a problem
--if there is an excessive amount of loose dirt
--if the ground is soft enough for ladies high heels to sink
--if the ground is soft enough for chairs to sink when occupied
--if the ground has gopher holes or other tripping hazards
--anytime a more stable footing is required, particularly for your elderly or handicapped guests
--if a designated walkway or path is desired
--anytime you are concerned about excessive foot traffic damage to your lawn. |

Q. Can we use decorations under a tent?

Certainly. We encourage you to decorate for your event. The only restrictions to decorating a tent are: |

--anything that punctures the tent or siding such as pins or staples are not allowed
--decorations that 'bleed' can not be used. All decorations must be colorfast. |

A: Since our business is renting equipment, we never know when someone will call and reserve our equipment. I recommend that you make your reservation just as soon as you can confirm your plans to assure the availability of the equipment that you want. |
